Leathersmith

Using the traditional techniques I learned when training as a saddle/harness maker, I now design and make bags, cases, belts etc. - completely hand stitched in leather.

The majority of my work is individually made, each pattern piece being cut out and prepared by hand using traditional leatherworking tools; often I dye the leather myself, to provide a range of colours.

Interesting, sometimes unusual and often handmade embellishments and fastenings are incorporated into my designs, making each piece of work a unique creation, to be treasured and enjoyed for many years.
