Saturday workshop. Ply splitting has traditionally been used to make camel girths and animal regalia in Rajasthan and Gujarat, India. Work with Julie Hedges in this versatile technique using highly twisted colourful cords in cotton and linen to make exciting shaped braids which may be used for textile accessories, jewellery and three dimensional pieces. For beginners and those with some experience of Ply-Splitting. Fee: £50.
