Shropshire Guild Chair and ceramicist Caroline Bennett said "we will be ‘Showing Off’ our wonderful creativity over the weekend of April 27th and 28th at Ludlow’s Harley Centre, just off the Castle Square. Over 30 designer makers will be on show and some will also be demonstrating their skills, which is always interesting to watch".

Shropshire Guild Members exhibiting include Oswestry based fine furniture maker Martin Howard. Martin, who produces individually handmade furniture, employs traditional cabinet making skills to produce a wide variety of contemporary items.

Exhibiting from the Worcestershire Guild of Designer Craftsmen is Joceyln Perry. Bewdley based Jocelyn creates beadwork jewellery and said “people who visit the show are appreciative of handcrafted work, and I have quite a few faithful customers in the Ludlow area”.

Caroline continued "events such as 'Showing Off' are really important to designer makers and the public. Shropshire and the region has a huge wealth of talent, we really feel it is important to show the public that things are still
very much made by hand.
