Shropshire Guild of contemporary craft

The Guild will be 'Showing Off' in Ludlow twice this year!

The aptly titled 'Showing Off' contemporary craft event will be held at Ludlow's Harley Centre over the weekends of 21^st and 22^nd of May and also 22^nd and 23^rd of October.  

'Showing Off' not only incorporates designer makers from the Shropshire Guild, but also the Worcestershire Guild of Designer Craftsmen and guest designer makers.

Shropshire Guild member and organiser of 'Showing Off', Caroline Bennett said "the event promises to offer a vibrant and exciting array of items made by talented designer makers not only from Shropshire but also from Worcestershire".  

The Guild's flagship exhibition, 'Gorgeous', will be held this year on the 8^th and 9^th of October.

Chairman of the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft, Sophie Eades said, "Gorgeous is the biggest contemporary craft event in the region, and will feature a wide variety of disciplines from very creative designer makers. This fantastic exhibition will include Guild members and guests who have created wonderful pieces of furniture, jewellery, fabrics, ceramics and basketry."
