Shropshire Guild of contemporary craft

Tim Foster lives and works in a beautiful location perched on the side of the Ceiriog Valley overlooking Wales and the newly created World Heritage Site near Chirk.

Pieces are designed to be functional, tactile and visually pleasing. The turned wooden lids are regularly surmounted by unique handles that in form resemble trees. The end grain timber to create these is sourced from surrounding woodland and its use reveals the often hidden beauty of different tree species.
