The Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft was formed in 2001 to promote, display and sell the work of designer makers working in Shropshire. Our members use traditional skills and techniques, alongside innovative modern methods, to produce beautiful contemporary work of the highest calibre.
The Shropshire Guild encompasses all craft disciplines and is currently represented by designer/makers of baskets, ceramics, furniture, glass, jewellery, leather, metal, sculpture, textiles and wood. You can either browse by category or view a complete list of all our craftspeople.

Gorgeous Contemporary Craft and Fine Food Fair 2010
After a hugely successful event in 2009, The Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust and The Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft are bringing together a truly inspirational mix of some of the finest craftspeople from the region for the Guild’s prestigious annual flagship exhibition, ‘Gorgeous’, over the weekend of October 9th and 10th. For the third year running there will also be a Food Hall filled with a range of delicacies from across Shropshire. This unique selling exhibition will be held at Enginuity, Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, Shropshire.
