About

Founded in 2001, the Shropshire Guild of Designer Makers encourages fine design coupled with high quality craftmanship. We work together to promote our members and to create a platform for the sale of their high-quality works both online and at events throughout the county. We also provide members with support and opportunities for professional development.

Our selling exhibitions feature inspirational work from the 30+ makers in our membership, plus occasional guests makers from further afield. Exhibitors are selected to ensure a diverse range of products across all disciplines, including furniture, sculpture, glass, jewellery, textiles and ceramics, and encompassing a broad price range. Every item on display reflects an exceptionally high level of craftmanship and design.

We have an organising committee of volunteers and operate on a not-for-profit basis. Membership of the Guild is by application.
